The stunning beauty of the Serbian countryside is another little-known fact. Most often passed over by American tourists for the beaches of Croatia, Serbia maintains its pristine, pastoral nature
Situated on the Balkan peninsula and the Pannonian plaine it is replete with rivers and mountain ranges that provide a home to a broad diversity of plant and animal species.
We love the trees. Pine, birch, fir and spruce are common. Our favorite time of year is spring when the blooms from the abundance of fruit trees decorate the hillsides. Plum, apple, apricot, and peach are enjoyed fresh in season, canned for winter and distilled into the fruit brandy called rakia for drinking all year round.
Join us in the spring as the hills come alive or in the fall to enjoy the harvest and a cooking class. Either way, we will ensure you have ample time to savor the beauty, share in the tranquility and experience the village lifestyle.
